Almost every bedroom in the new house had plastic carpet flooring. For me it was urgent to get new flooring in the children’s room, a floor that was quiet, but still able to take a lot of beating without showing signs of it. We heard that vinyl parket was the best answer to that need. The new types of vinyl parket are really pretty and feel like real wood floors when you walk on them.
In Murbuðin they have a great vinyl parket from the german brand Wineo for a fair price and they were really helpful to show me how to lay the parket. We were able to put it in ourselves which of course is really nice, both planning wise and it saves you the cost of having to pay someone to put it in. I am super happy with the outcome and now we are also considering putting in our store because it is so beautiful, and it really does hold up against just about anything.
We where able to lay the new Wineo floor on top of the old floor.
Then we just had the skirting left.
