I am an emotional wreck, balling my eyes out just writing about this but I know it can be good to get it out and go through my emotions..
Nova our dog got to be 9 years old, she past away a week ago because of sickness and age. She was my first love, my first child and my best friend. She loved me unconditionally, she was always happy to see me and she meant the world to our family and most to our daughter. To not have her warm body next to me now is strange, to not hear her snoring in her bed or to hear her claws tapping against our floors when she walks makes our home so empty and quiet.
When she took her last breath at the animal hospital a peace of my heart left with her.. I miss her more than words can explain.
