This place was so beautiful, charming and I’ve wouldn’t mind to stay there longer. We had this villa four 4 days, and it’s located in Antibes, just 15 min from Cannes. We had 5 different photoshoots here, so the weekend was really busy. A lot of models, photographers and camera men was running around all over this place haha.
I’m gonna share this awesome song with you guys, it’s our Cannes 2016 song, it’s on repeat here at the moment.
Listen, enjoy and dream about a paradise with palm trees, white beaches and blue water. <3

I arrived in Cannes on Monday, and it has been so great! Just love this city and the weather is perfect, I have been craving summer weather for so long haha.
As you probably know it is the Cannes Film Festival here now and I’m here for shoots, events, and parties. And one of the big partys I’m attending is the BLUE OBSESSION L’oreal party as I recently shot for them alongside Lewis Hamilton. The party is tonight and I am so excited!!
Yesterday was a big night out, we where at the Carlton Hotel and ate a wonderful dinner and then we went to Gotha, a big nightclub here. Halfway through the night, we were led to a secret entrance that lead to an exclusive VIP section hosted by the popular LA nightclub 1OAK. They had designed the space to look similar to their home location.
Came home really late, too late haha. But have finally got some sleep and I’m heading for some food now. And then it’s gonna be preparation for the L’oreal party tonight!!! Can’t wait!!

Yesterday was a big day for Swedish people, the Eurovision Final, in Sweden. As many might know Sweden is very obsessed with Eurovision haha. We usually always watch it, it’s just a tradition you have from when you were younger. And I have noticed that it’s as popular here in Iceland too, I like it.
We were away the hole day yesterday at the summer cabin and came home quite late so we just decided in the last minute to invite our friends for some Eurovision dinner, so this was actually a very spontaneous dinner. And it turned out to be delicious.
OUR DINNER:
Grilled chicken with coriander and garlic
800 g Chicken thigh filé
Metal skewers
Marinade:
1 dl olive oil
3 tablespoon of light soya sauce (kikkoman)
2 tablespoon of honey
2-3 pressed garlic cloves
1 dl of chopped fresh coriander
salt and pepper
Mix all the ingredients with the chicken and let it stay in the fridge for about 30-60 min. Put it on the metal skewers and start bbq. I prefer to use chicken thigh filé instead of regular chicken filé, it gets so much more tender.
Mexican grilled corn
Grill the corn and lemon on a hot grill (buy pre-cooked corn). Grate the Parmesan in another bowl. While the corn is still warm slather it with cream cheese and then turn it in grated parmesan. Squeeze the grill lemon juice over the corns and season with chilli powder and salt. ‘You will love this’.
Fried asparagus
Heat up a pan with olive oil, fry the asparagus and add some green pesto. ‘Easy and a perfect side dish’.
Cold garlic sauce
2,5 dl creme fraiche
2 tablespoon of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon of honey
1-2 pressed garlic cloves
salt and pepper
olive oil
Mix everything together and store in the fridge. ‘Perfect for the bbq table’.
BON APITIT!!

I’m gonna share this awesome dish with you now. This is from my other food blog (All my older recipes will be moved here soon), but I want to show you what kind of food you can expect from me. And this one became very popular and I totally understand that because it’s so good.
When I was in Finland 3 weeks ago, I got to taste a super good avocado pasta. I had actually never eaten avocado with pasta before, and I love avocado so much and it’s my Nr 1 craving at the moment haha. So, I really wanted to eat this dish again and I did it my own way, and….. It became so good. I recommend to do this pasta dish, maybe this weekend with a glas of good white wine. You will get addicted.
YOU NEED:
400g of pasta
5 dl pasta water
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
3 shallot onion, chopped
1,5 red fresh chili, chopped, without the seeds
2,5 dl of dry white wine
4-5 avocados, depends how big they are
2 dl chopped fresh parsley
2 dl chopped fresh basil
1,5 dl grated parmesan
1 lime
Olive oil
Salt and pepper
Olive oil and grated parmesan for garnish
DO THIS:
- Start to cook the pasta with salt and olive oil to ‘al dente’ and save about 5 dl of the pasta water for later
- Fry the chopped shallot, garlic and the chili (remember to take out the seeds from the chili) in olive oil
- Pour the wine into the pan and stir around, let it boil together a little
- Add the cooked pasta and mix everything together, turn off the heat!
- Pour the pasta water and stir
- Add the avocado pieces, the chooped perslay, basil and the parmesan in to the pan and mix everything together
- Squeeze lime juice over the pasta and taste it with salt and pepper
- Granish it with some olive oil and grated parmesan. :)
ENJOY!!!

My name is Jennifer Berg and I’m one of the new bloggers at Trendnet and I’m so excited to start blogging here and share a part of my life with you guys.
Unfortunately I can’t write in Icelandic yet, but I hope it will come in the nearest future. I hope you all are understanding and you can always use Icelandic to me. And then I learn at the same time. :)
So, I thought I would start writing a little bit about myself. A short version haha.
I’m a Swedish girl who moved to Iceland for about 1 year ago. Living in Reykjavik with my Icelandic soccer player and my baby Knútur, who is a french bulldog.
I’m 25 years old (1991). Born and raised in Sweden, in a small town called Borås. My mother is from Chiang Mai, north of Thailand and my father was Swedish (he passed away when I was 10y old <3). I’ve always been a girl who loves to look for new things, new places to explore and new people to meet. And I’m not afraid to take chances in life. ‘Better an oops than a what if’.
In my blog you will read a lot about food, as that’s my biggest passion, I love to cook and eat haha. So I will share many of my favourite recipes and food pictures. I had a food blog before, and All my recipes will be moved to this site soon.
I’m also working as model and there for I travel a lot, which is my other biggest favourite thing and I also need to keep my body in shape. So you will follow my life during travels, training, modelling and my life here in Iceland.
I hope you will find my food and lifestyle blog interesting and inspiring.

There are so amazingly good meat stores here in Iceland, but we usually go to a place called “Kjöt og Fiskur” which is located right in the center of Reykjavik. And today we bought ribeye steak for dinner! Had also help in the kitchen today, my love, Skuli, and he is so good with the grill and grilled these good Ribeyes perfect! :) I made an own rubb to the meat and it became a very good and I also did a cold mustard sauce, perfect for the meat!
You need:
Rib eye steak or other good meat
For the rub:
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
2 pressed garlic
2 tsp smoked paprika spice
1 teaspoon cumin
salt and pepper
Cold mustard sauce:
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons coarse Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons honey
La Ratte frites:
La Ratte potato
olive oil
herb Spice
salt flakes
To do this:
1. Start with the potatoes, wash and cut into wedges. Mix the potatoes with olive oil and the herb spice/salt on a baking tray and then into the oven at about 225 degrees.
2. Mix all the ingredients to the sauce, and leave it in the frigde.
3. Mix all the ingredients to the rub and then rub it into the meat. Then they are ready to grill :)

This was our Friday dinner! Went and bought some nice salmon from a fish shop here in Reykjavik and made a fresh asparagus bed of arugula salad dressing, parmesan cheese and toasted pine nuts. Boiled some potatoes to it. :)
You need:
Asparagus
Olive oil
Parmesan cheese in piece
Pine nuts
Sea salt
Rucola Dressing
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup white wine vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons liquid honey
1 tablespoon sweet mustard
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
25g rocket salad
1/2 clove garlic
salt
1. Pour olive oil over the asparagus and let sit for about 15 minutes.
2. Roast the asparagus. Spice up the ready-fried asparagus with salt flakes.
3. Toast the pine nuts golden brown in an oiled frying pan. Add some salt on the pine nuts.
4. Mix together mustard, honey and white vinegar to a paste. Mix oil with rucola salad. stir the green oil slowly. Season with salt and crushed garlic.
5. Add asparagus on plate, drizzle the rucola dressing. Sprinkle with the toasted pine nuts, plane of parmesan cheese.
I salted and peppered the salamon, then just in the oven for about 15 minutes in 175grader, depending on how big the piece you have.
