Last week I went to Sweden for work with Bubbleroom, had a great shoot and the team was so much fun! I can’t wait to work with them again. I decided to stay longer in Sweden to visit friends and family and enjoy real summer ;) haha. And Yes dear people, Icelandic weather is sh*t, and you must agree with me. End of discussion.
I stayed in my hometown for just a few days and met some of my friends, ate dinner at one of my favourite spots in Borås, called Vinci. Then I went with my mom to Öland where my family from my dad side always are during summer. It’s my favourite summer place to be in Sweden this time of year. Everything here is so ‘typical Sweden’ and it’s the best chance for sunny weather in the whole country (wondering why this place is my favourite haha). It’s so cozy here, I remember posting about Öland last summer, I usually try to come here when I’m in Sweden during summer.
So I’ve mostly just been chilling, enjoying food, sunbathing and been swimming in the ocean, so nice, it’s definitely no stress here at all.
I have a few days left here so I’ll try to enjoy this as much as I can. :)
What a trip! I had so much fun and for those who follow me on Instagram and my story probably know why. I was away for about 2 weeks, went to Cannes Film Festival, then to Monaco and stayed on this amazing yacht, then I spent my last days in Ibiza in this amazing house, haha. Everything has literally been amazing, could have stayed there forever!
But now I’m back in Iceland and finally started to get back to my regular life and will soon start my cooking again, finally! And a lot of gym time, well needed!
I’m packing and preparing for a week in Cannes! It will be so much fun and can’t wait, it’s the Cannes Film Festival there now and a lot of things are going on! You might remember I was there last year.
I’m going with a very early flight tomorrow… It seriously takes a whoooole day to travel to Cannes from Iceland, it’s insane haha. Need to change flight in Paris as it’s no direct flight to Nice from here… :( But anyway, it’s worth it.
Last week I went to Barcelona for work with Stronger, a very popular sport brand from Sweden. I had such a great time and the team we had was awesome.
I was there for 4 nights and we stayed at a beautiful hotel downtown. It was 3 working days so I got some time to explore the city as well, and appreciated that very much as I’ve never been there before. It’s such a beautiful and fun city and the food is awesome. I LOVE tapas so this city suited me perfect haha. One restaurant I really recommend to visit is El Nacional, a super hip place with great food and drinks.
I Can’t wait to come back to Barcelona!
At the moment I’m in Helsinki, Finland to visit my agency. I’m gonna be here to Thursday and then I’m heading to Stockholm for a meeting.
It feels so good to finally be home in my hometown Borås in Sweden. So nice to meet family and friends, been too long since I’ve been here.
Yesterday I met some friends and had a wonderful dinner at Viskans Vinbar had some delicious oysters and butter fried sole fish, so yummy!! After that we went to Vinci for some drinks, one of my favorite lounge places in Borås.
I’m staying here for 2 weeks and I don’t have anything planned really. Just gonna take the days as they come and enjoy. :)
Here are pictures from our trip in Koh Lipe, my favorite Island so far. We enjoyed a whole week here, so beautiful, such a paradise!
We stayed at Mali Resort at Sunrise beach. They have two resorts, one at Pattaya beach which is the main beach in Lipe and one on Sunrise beach which is the most beautiful and peaceful one. Everything was so great and the bungalow we stayed in was just next to the beach and it was perfect and so cosy! Could have stayed there for ever.
Everything was walking distans as it’s such a small Island. We actually went to another Island just to explore a bit and it was just next to Koh Lipe, it’s called Ko Adang, we took a kayak and we thought it wasn’t that far but half way there we really felt it in our arms haha. But so much fun. No one was there, a whole beach by yourself, so peaceful.
We also went on a snorkling tour with a private boat and we could just decide when and where we wanted to go and that was so much better then going in a group. As then you would have people around you all the time.
We had a perfect trip here, will definitely come back again and also to visit our new friends we made at Mali Resort. <3
Our second stop in Thailand was Ao Nang and it was my first time there.
I would say that I’m not a big fan of Ao Nang, it’s too “commercial” and the beaches weren’t that nice. If you would go there you should go and explore the islands outside Ao Nang as I think many people were doing, but we were just there for quick 3 days stop so we didn’t have time to leave Ao Nang to explore the islands.
We found a quite nice beach further away from the main one and it was more quite and relaxed there. And I must say the high cliffs in the sea makes everything much more beautiful!
Here are some pictures from our first stop in Thailand, Chiang Mai. It has been very hard to blog in Thailand as you usually aren’t at the hotel so much and you just want to enjoy. So I will update some now, part wise from the trip.
It was such a long time ago I’ve been in Chiang Mai and I haven’t met my relatives for ages. It was so nice to finally meet them again.
We explored Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, it’s one of the biggest temples in Thailand and it’s located on top of a mountain, it was so beautiful and peaceful there. We also went to a lot of big night markets which are very popular, all over Thailand actually. Tried out so much food and I must say that Chiang Mai has the best thai food for sure!
This amazing shoot took place in a beautiful house in Malibu, California. I have so many nice stories from this shooting day. Here is some of the pictures from our first story we did, and more will come.
So things have been changed. I’m heading back to LA and so happy about that and excited! But at the moment I’m still in NYC. I have a flight ‘on hold’ to LA today evening but I might fly tomorrow instead. I probably have one thing here in NY tomorrow morning, But I’ll get that confirmed later today. I know it’s a bit complicated, things change a lot haha.
Welcome to my exciting life at the moment. And I love it.
