Had such a nice Saturday. We got stuck at my place the whole night, but a few of us decided to go down town to check it out around 3.30 am haha, a bit late but it was enough anyway. Just had a drink, danced a little and then went home haha, got a perfect dose.
I had made some small snacks for the wine as you can see on top. The first picture is ‘Löjromstoast’ , it’s a Swedish typical snack and suits perfect with a light beer or white wine. And it’s super easy to make!
YOU NEED:
Toast bread
2 dl Creme fraiche
1 lemon
Roe
Red onion
Fresh dill
You should actually fry the bread in a pan with butter, but I just put them on a baking tray with some olive oil and roasted them in the oven. Then mix the creme fraiche with some lemon zest. Then put some on the bread, top it with the roe, chopped red onion and decorate with fresh dill. :)
Then I also had some cheese and ham platter, one of my favorites to have as a snack when having some wine.
And on the third picture is parma ham with water melon, I usually have honeymelon (the perfect combination) but they didn’t have it at the super market, but this was fine as well.
On the forth picture is also one of my favorites (I have to many favorites). It’s bacon-wrapped dates, sooo delicious, you need to try this at home!
YOU NEED:
Dates
Bacon
Preheat the oven to 200 C.
Wrap each date with half a piece of bacon. But them on a baking tray and bake for about 15 to 18 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature. I usually drizzle some ‘crema di balsamico’ on top and garnish with some fresh thyme. Suits really good together.
Love
